Karthi's upcoming movie 'Shaguni' in Tamil is touted as a political sattire. The shooting of the movie had reached its final stages. The rest of the shooting will be completed by December. The producers are planning to release the movie in the second or third week of January in 2012.
Shankar Dayal is directing the film and Gnanavel Raja is producing it on Studio Green banner. Bellamkonda Suresh had bagged the Telugu dubbing version Shakuni and will have simultaneous release with the Tamil version
